Voices of Officiating
Voices of Officiating is a feature where we sit down with football officials and coaches from multiple levels of the game to hear their stories, experiences, and perspectives. Whether it’s a veteran referee reflecting on a career-defining moment or a head coach sharing what builds trust with a crew, each interview sheds light on the human side of the game. By including both stripes and sidelines, we aim to foster mutual understanding and elevate the respect between coaches and officials.
But Voices of Officiating is more than storytelling — it’s a rich source of training and education. Each conversation is filled with practical nuggets and lessons that help officials sharpen their judgment, improve their communication, and grow in professionalism. From positioning tips to philosophies on game control, these interviews are designed to equip every official — rookie or veteran — with tools to be more effective on the field.
